Mr. Allenson is currently in his first year as the music director at Heritage High School. Previously he taught in Boulder Valley School district at Centaurus and Monarch High School and Aspen Creek K-8. Mr. Allenson is an active educator throughout Colorado teaching with Blue Knights Drum and Bugle Corps, private lessons, and more.

Mr. Allenson earned his BME from the University of Colorado and his pursuing his MM in Conducting from the Colorado State University
