The String Orchestra is an all string performance ensemble that focuses on grade 2-4 literature. They will continue their study on their instruments while learning theory, ear training, and performance practice. The string orchestra performs at several concerts throughout the school year. This ensemble is open to all Heritage students looking to learn or improve their skills on a string instrument and meets on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.

 

We also offer a Chamber Orchestra that meets on Tuesdays and Thursdays. This ensemble is for the most advanced string students and entrance is based on audition. The chamber orchestra focuses on performing more difficult music and usually has more performances within the community throughout the school year.
